- FlexiDis project: 2nd Training Workshop on Flexible Displays
Date: March 29-30, 2007
Location: King's College, Cambridge, UK
The European Integrated Research Project Flexidis is organizing an open 1 ½ day training workshop on critical technology components for such displays, including substrates & substrate handling, flexible active matrix arrays based on both organic and silicon thin-film transistors, emissive and reflective display technologies, manufacturing issues and applications of flexible displays, such as automotive or electronic newspaper applications.
The deadline for registration has been extended to Friday March 23rd. Participation of students is particularly encouraged, and a limited number of travel bursaries are still available.

Location: Krutyn, Poland
The European IP project OLLA is organising its third technical summer school in Poland. It is a high-level and high intensive scientific event, open to all who are interested in thin solid films for OLEDs and Optotronic Applications. Several key-experts from Europe and USA will explain and update you via lectures and tutorials on the latest developments. The school is organised in a picturesque and romantic summer resort in the village Krutyn, in the Mazurian Lake District, easily accessble from Warsaw.
