The Europeam competence in advanced displays and organic electronics The adria competence mapping report is out! We are very happy to announce that the adria report on European Competence Mapping is available for free for all those who actively contributed to the adria competence mapping activities by publishing a research activity or a product/service profile in our database. “Solving the puzzle of European competence in the field of advanced displays” – that is the short way of describing what the adria network has tried to accomplish with its competence mapping workpackage. The look into the future for advanced displays and organic electronics The adria roadmap is out! We are very happy to announce that the adria roadmap is available for individuals who contributed in our roadmapping workshops and otherwise. The purpose of this document is to review the progress made in the global display industry from a European perspective taking the emerging field of organic electronics into account, and to identify opportunities for further growth over the next fifteen years. 7th Framework Programme of the European Commission Displays and Organic Electronics Call is out! After intensive preparation and consultation we can "dive into the real thing": The first FP7 call in the ICT area has been published December 22, 2007 with deadline May 8, 2007. As announced at the IST-Conference in Helsinki in November 2006, part of this call with a budget of € 63 million is dedicated to the organic electronics and displays technology sectors.
